Today was Easter! I had a really fun day. A true flashback to my childhood. My family and I got together and indulged in some of my favorite traditions.
This is a picture of one of the baskets my mother had arranged for my siblings and I. The egg in the center is one that I had dyed the previous day. Despite taunts from my family for a seemingly odd obsession with Band-Aids, I thought it was appropriate to adorn the little guy with a couple of bandages.
You see, while we were hard boiling the eggs, a few unfortunate ones were cracked in the process. The hairline fractures weren’t very noticeable, but the poor baby chick was in need of a little first-aid.
I had the idea that Band-Aid could print out their own Egg Dying Kits including small Band-Aid stickers along with other festive ones. The stickers could be used to decorate the dyed eggs, and the ones in Band-Aid form could be used by concerned youngsters to patch up the inevitable little cracks.
In the fun and spirit of the popular tradition of egg dying, I believe this small gesture would help expand the brand. Not only would children form a lasting memorable relationship with Band-Aid, but they would forever have fond brand related memories to pass on.

I really enjoyed the sense of family in this idea. Also, you could throw in some actual Band-Aids into one of those egg dying kits to make things even more Band-Aid-centric. What if, perhaps, you actually put Band-Aids on the eggs? Or maybe you could dye Band-Aids and eggs together one easter. Just a thought.
